MATC Golf Outing - Sign up Now!! Posted 8-17-09 - Come
celebrate over 40 years of MATC Athletics by playing
golf with several former MATC student-athletes, coaches,
friends and supporters. All proceeds from the event will
benefit the Thomas Family Children Trust Fund.

Join us for the third annual MATC Jam the Gym celebration. The event will feature a great day of MATC Basketball, friends, food and fun. Listed below is the schedule:
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
9:30-11:30 AM - Alumni Basketball games - We will provide all game equipment including jerseys and our professional announcer, Gary "Big Dog" Breneman. Multiple men's and women's teams will compete against each other. (For more game information contact Head Coach, Scot Vesterdahl)
11:45 AM - Tailgate Party in the MATC Cafeteria (FREE for those who RSVP - $5 without RVSP)
1:00 PM - MATC Men's Basketball Game - vs. Western Technical College
3:00 PM - MATC Women's Basketball Game - vs. Western Technical College
Please RSVP by filling out the online form.
RSVP will provide you FREE admission to the game and lunch at the Tailgate Party.

Awards Given at 43rd Annual Athletic Banquet Posted 4-24-08 - The 43rd annual MATC Athletics Banquet on Thursday, April 24 was a great night to honor current and former student-athletes, coaches and supporters. The following special awards and honors were presented:

Big
Dog In Audience At the Price is Right Posted
6-28-05 - Gary "Big
Dog" Breneman had the experience of a lifetime
when he had the opportunity to sit in the studio audience
at a taping of the Price is Right last week
in Hollywood, CA. Big Dog did not make it up on stage
but said he was close to someone who was told to "come
on down." The show will appear on CBS on September
23rd at 10 AM.
Big Dog has religiously watched the Price Is Right (and
has had to tape many shows during away games) for as long as
anyone can remember. So, in Big Dog's 30th year as Men's Basketball
and Baseball manager he was presented with a check for a trip
to Hollywood at the 40th Annual MATC Athletic Banquet. Almost
$3000 was raised for Big Dog's trip through generous donations
from over 125 former and current student-athletes and coaches.
Thanks to all who helped support Big Dog on his dream trip.

of each student-athlete and each of the individual sport
programs at Madison Area Technical College. Your
donation will be used for things not covered by the college
budget.
